Charity

IT Works Health support a number of charities both locally and nationally by fund raising throughout the year.

In 2011 the directors chose to develop a longer term relationship with The Down’s Syndrome Association especially as a cause of significant importance to the staff here at ITW HQ. We regularly arrange events to raise money and awareness about the charity, their work and the people affected with Down’s Syndrome. ITW participate in a number of events to help raise money for the DSA including climbing Ben Nevis in 2012.

The Downs Syndrome Association is the only organisation in the country focusing solely on all aspects of living successfully with Downs Syndrome. Since 1970 they have grown from being a local parent support group into a national charity with over 20,000 members, they also work closely with over 130 local support groups throughout the UK.
