Having started in Recruitment in London back in the day when you had to queue at the fax machine to send CVs (and the biggest office crime was sneaking outbound faxes through the ‘Incoming’ fax machine), Stuart has had an interesting career to date. He had a period out of Recruitment when he was busy running different businesses, but the draw back to ‘the best industry in the world’ was too strong and 2010 saw his return to Recruitment. He joined IT Works in 2016 as the business had “the right values/beliefs and desire to make things happen” and he saw the potential to create significant opportunity for IT Works’ Clients/Contractors/Candidates/Colleagues. During his tenure, the business has grown year on year with the focus on delivering solutions through expert people.
Outside of work he spends a lot of time in Italy enjoying La Dolce Vita (largely through the medium of Aperol Spritz), and is a big fan of travel, great food and great wine. He supports Chelsea FC (getting to about a dozen home games a season with his Sons…that’s dedication traveling from the North West), plays golf badly, threatens to be a great cyclist again one day and he also makes the 2nd best brew in the business (is hoping to improve to one day take the number one position).
