EPR Procurement Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced EPR Procurement Project Manager to lead this critical initiative from procurement through to implementation. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our digital health infrastructure, directly impacting patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Role Overview
As the EPR Procurement Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement lifecycle of a new EPR system. You will manage the vendor selection process, contract negotiations, stakeholder engagement, and ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The successful candidate will have a solid background in healthcare IT, project management, and procurement, with a deep understanding of clinical workflows and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the EPR Procurement Process: Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for the new EPR system, including needs assessment, RFP development, vendor evaluation, and contract finalization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to ensure the solution meets the organization’s needs and aligns with strategic objectives.
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and manage the procurement project within agreed timelines, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across all workstreams.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with potential vendors to ensure clarity of requirements, track proposals, and manage supplier performance during the procurement process.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, NHS Digital standards) and manage project risks and mitigations throughout the lifecycle.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage the project budget, track costs, and ensure financial sustainability through effective cost control and resource allocation.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular updates to senior management, including risk assessments and procurement progress.
